Position Summary:
This position will work closely with the Executive team as well as the Development and Marketing departments to coordinate, develop, and prepare marketing collateral, statements of qualification, and technical proposals in support of new business development. This position will be working out of the main office in Newport Beach.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Develop and write proposal and qualification statement content
• Prepare proposal outlines and assignment matrices and conduct proposal kick-off meetings
• Print, copy, assemble and bind both hard-copy and electronic responses
• Manage proposal and qualification responses from initial stages through final submission
• Create and maintain resumes and bios
• Develop and produce proposals and qualification statement graphics
• Create new project description sheets
• Proofread and edit proposal content for internal departments
• Research and write project and personnel award entries
• Assist the marketing team with on-site project events/social media
• Write articles for trade publications
• Assist the executive team with misc. projects
• Sitting/standing at a desk, working at a computer for a majority of the day
• Able to lift 10+ lbs., reaching, bending as is typical in an office environment

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the construction, architectural, and/or engineering industries preferred
• Ability to work with different personalities in the construction and engineering industries
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent is required
• Self-directed and proactive in obtaining feedback/responses from other parties
• Must be polished, professional, and prepared 
• Technology experience with MS Office products, Canva, Adobe Suite strongly preferred; photography skills preferred
• Strong editing/writing skills, with an in-depth knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Attention to detail is required to achieve publication-ready materials
• Strong collaboration, team-based orientation, and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
